A local manufacturing facility approached us following their expansion and subsequent move into new premises.
The company required a full fire safety solution, from advice on fire safety signage, to fire warden training and a comprehensive fire risk assessment for their new site.
The Solution
Our staff were able to consult with the companys Health & Safety manager during the final fit out stage, to ensure that the correct fire safety signage was fitted and correctly sited.
Following this, a day was spent on site carrying out a comprehensive fire risk assessment using the PAS79 format and a subsequent briefing was carried out discussing the significant findings with site management.
Focus then fell on the staff designated as Fire Wardens. They sat our industry written training course and after a short exam were signed off as competent in their new roles.

Early co-operation between the Responsible Person and ourselves, ensured that the site was able to start production as soon as the move to the new site was completed. This meant that all relevent legislation was met and the site was deemed safe by all relevent agencies.
